Won driving; second and third the same. TIIEO FAY at once raced into a long lead and was tiring at the end, but outgamed MAD-DENSTOWN in the final drive. The latter began slowly and finished fast after working his "way up steadily. AMPOLAC lost ground on the stretch turn, but finished going fast on the inside. WILBUR C WHITEHEAD was ridden wide all the way. CANT SAY NO closed a big gap. OLD BROADWAY ran well for a half and quit badly. Won easily; second and third driving. BLUE RIDGE, away well, was taken back and saved and, coming wide when entering the stretch, passed BY HISSELF with ease in the final eighth. BY HISSELF went to the front with a rusbj and drew away into a good lead, but tired when challenged. ZUKER raced well and finished gamely. MIR ADO R began slowly and finished fast. CLOUDLAND and FLYING AL had no mishaps. WAMPEE was saved under restraint until called on, then moved up rapidly on the last turn and, coming on tiie outside in the best going in the stretch, took the lead and won easing up. BRICH raced MUNGO into defeat and tired badly near the end. BATSMAN came again on the outside in the final eighth. DEFIANT was in the deepest going all the way. MUNGO set the early pace and quit. OLYNTHUS, suddenly improved and helped by the going, raced into the lead on the backstretch and was under restraint at the end. LITTLE AMMIE moved up gamely when rounding the last turn and outgamed DELYSIA in the final drive. The latter was a forward contender all the way and made a resolute finish. LADY LONGRIDGE unseated her rider while on the way to the post, but ran a fairly good race. FLYING DEVIL was in deep going most of the way. ANNI- " VERSARY had scant chance at the start. DANGEROUS, close up fiom the start, came on the outside of the leaders when entering the stretch and, racing into the lead, won going away. REPULSE was outrun to the stretch, but finished fast and gamely. MARCELLUS sot a good pace, but was penned in in the deep going for the first halt and tired after disposing of HARLAN. VOLCANO and ROCKSTONE had no mishaps. SILVER FOX could never get up.
