DAMON RUNYON raced MAUIE DATTNER into defeat when called on, but could not withstand the winners challenge. MY IDOL finished well. MARIE DATTNER set a fast pace, but quit when chaUenged. Won driving; second and third the same. OAKWOOD was outpaced in the early running, but came fast on the last turn and, finishing gamely, headed DOCTOR GLENN in the final sixteenth. DOCTOR GLENN followed TIDINGS closely, but tired after disposing of her in the final drive. TIDINGS set a fast pace and saved ground on all the turns, but tired when put to a drive. THOMASINE lost much ground on the first turn and raced into a contending position on the back-stretch, then tired. QUOTATION set the early pace and quit. Overweight Poltova, 1 pounds.
