Won easily; second and third driving. YOUNG APRIL took" the lead at once and, showing high speed in the going, -won all the way, never fully extended. HALF PINT was outrun for the first half, but closed up with a rush through the final eighth. HOOT MON raced close up all the way and finished gamely. WALTER E. showed early speed. MARJORIE C. finished fast. WRACKLANE ran well. TICK TOCK was outiun to the stretch, but moved up steadily after rounding the stretch turn and, finishing resolutely, outgamcd ROCKY FORD in the final drive. ROCKY FORD was forced to come wide when entering the stretch and came with a rush and made a game challenge at the . sixteenth post, but tired right at the end. THUNDERBOLT showed his usual early speed, but swerved into deep going on the inside and tired badly. POLO GROUND ran well. TEN EYCK quit badly. OOWAH and ST. GERARD were always outrun. FEYSUN followed the pacemaker closely under restraint to the stretch, then wore him down and, taking the lead, drew away to win in a canter. SWINGALONG set a fast pace under slight restraint and, after being passed, came again near the end and outfinished BLIND PLAY. The latter moved up resolutely into second place, but tired finally. NICHOLAS, showing decided improvement, raced into the lead witli a rush and drew far away, but was being shaken up at the end. SENALADO finished fast from a slow beginning. STAR LORE b6gan slowly but, improving his position steadily, closed a big gap- and finished fast. DANGEROUS, away slowly, ran a good race all the way. BATTLE FIELD ran well. Won driving; second and third the same. FLYING DEVIL followed the leaders closely and. gaining steadily in the stretch, finished resolutely and got up to win in the final stride. OVERTAKE raced GAY BEN into defeat and drew away into a clear lead, but was tiring badly at the end. BAR GOLD began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and finished fastest of all. SUPERBUM was crowded on the far turn and shuffled back. GAY BEN set the early pace, but tired and finished in the deepest going on the inside.
