FILLY BEFUDDLE DEAD LATONIA, Ky., Sept. 23 E. R. Bradley suffered the loss Monday night of one of the most valuable members of his stable when Befuddle, a three-year-old filly by Black Toney Vaila succumbed to pneumonia. The1 filly, which, with other horses of the "Bradley stable division under the care of H. J. Thompson, had raced at Saratoga and Belmont Park, arrived at Latonia with a slight fever. This developed into pneumonia a few days ago and Dr. Haggard, who was hastily summoned from Lexington, found the filly beyond his aid upen his arrival. Befuddles most notable victory was in the Latonia Oaks, in which she beat Princess Doreen by a nose in the sensational time of 2:02. 4 .
