CHURCHILL DOWNS NOTES LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 23. G. M. Burton, Louisville horseman, arrived from Canada with Red Mullican, Miss Burdock and Miss Dodge. L. F. OLearys stable is another late arrival. The stable embraces Plaudel, Shafe, Elwood K. and Capt Kinnarney. The stable of Frederick Johnson, which has been reduced to three horses, arrived Thursday morning from Latonia in the care of the trainer, T. J. Harmon. The trio include Dare Say, Quatrain and Princess Adele. The horses that C. B. Shafer, Kansas City owner, brought here from Laurel were Bullet Proof, Singapore, Kitty Troxell, Malvern, Little Clair, Odd Seth, Subtle, Sister Josella, Lady Inez and Runchief. William Snyder wielded the starters flag the opening day and will continue to dispatch the field for the first eight days of the meeting, after which he will be succeeded by William. Hamilton, who will do the starting for the last seven days.
