NO COURT LITIGATION DALLAS, Texas, Oct 23. Joseph A. Murphy today stated that there would be no litigation over the control of Jefferson Park. "For the first time in several years New Orleans racing is out of court and I have no intention of clouding the situation by dragging Jefferson, its books and its affairs through the federal courts. Three times, in defense of racing -and its rights, I helped carry cases to the supreme court of Louisiana. All three of these cases we won and our legal position stands unassailable. It shall so remain if it depends on me. "The horsemen are not concerned in my personal affairs and I will not mix them together. Horsemen who contemplate shipping to Jefferson may do so without the slightest danger of being embarrased through me." . .
