KINDRED raced into the lead when called on and, making the pace fast, won in a canter. SEQUEL raced prominently for the entire way and held on gamely for second place. JUPITER came fast in the stretch and got up in the last few strides for third place. HYSTERIA raced well, but began tiring in the stretch. WRANGLER set the early pace and tired. BAD LUCK was away slowly, but saved much ground on the turn and outstayed LUCKY in the last few strides. LUCKY ran a good race and finished gamely, but tiring. ROYAL PRINCESS raced well. MAMOUD tired. WARFARE, practically left, closed a great gap. BACKBITER also made up much ground. LADY CHOCO raced gamely and finished fast. LITTLE CLAIR came with a rush through the last eighth. DUSTY MARY tired badly. MINUS set a fast pace to the stretch and quit. QUEEN CHARMING would not start. NASSAU, away poorly, bolted on the stretch turn. BLOTTER quit in the last eighth. ALICE BLUE GOWN suffered from much interference, but ran a bad race.
