KINGS TRAINER RESIGNS Richard Marsh Retires After Fifty Years of Activity, Thirty in the Royal Service. SPECIAL, cablegram: LONDON, England, Nov. 4. King George TV. has regretfully excepted the resignation of his trainer, Richard Marsh, who is now over seventy and does not feel able to attend to his duties any longer. Marsh has been training horses for over fifty years and thirty of them have been spent in handling the horses of the royal house. Among the classic winners -which he trained were Persimmon, Diamond Jubilee, Minoru, Jed- dah, Thais and Miss Jummy. In his early days Marsh rode both on the flat and through the field. He rode the horse that finished third in the Grand National in 1SS1. .
