LEXINGTONS FALL MEETING i Breeders Futurity Big Feature of Eleven Days of Racing at Historic Course. LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 4. The final meeting of the year will -be held at the historic Lexington track from November 11 to November 22, a period of eleven racing dates. The big feature of the meeting will be the Breeders Futurity, to be run Saturday, November 22, the final day. Entries for this valuable two-year-old fixture closed on July 1, 1922, with C48 nominations at each, making a total of ,240 in entry fees. On Jan. 1, 1923, a payment of 0 each was due and 531 paid this, adding ,310 to the stake. Then on Jan. 1, 1924, 257 paid 0 each, or ,140 additional to the pot Final payment of 0 each was made July 1, 1921, leaving 122 eligible and ,GG0 more for the stakes. With the ,000 added by the Kentucky Association, the gross value now stands at 2,350. To this will be added the staring fee of 50 each, which should bring the gross value to approximately 5,000. The Breeders Futurity has been run since 1910, when Housemaid won it The Manager, Helios, Imperator. Luke, Kinney, Harry Kelly, Escoba, Colonel Livingston, Blazes, Believe Idle Hour, Gentility, Donges and Worthmore are the other winners, in the order named. Of the 122 remaining cligibles for this years race, Annihilator, Abstract. Pas Seul. Oh Susanna, Kitty Pat, Stimulus, Menifee, Step Along, Rural Route, Blue Warbler, Sun-sard, Sunny Man, Young Martin, Kentucky Cardinal, Noah, Candy Kid, Mother Goose and Reputation are among the more prominent two-year-olds still in training and a number of these are probable starters. Racing secretary W. H. Shelley has compiled his program book for the meeting and it has already been distributed among the horsemen at Churchill Downs, the majority of whom will come here to race. The officials that will have charge of the racing here include C. W. Hay and W. H. Shelley, stewards ; Julius G. Reeder, N. H. McClelland and John S. Wallace, placing judges ; William Snyder and William Hamilton, starters ; W. H. Shelley and John S. Wallace, handicappers ; N. H. McClelland, clerk of the scales ; W. IT. Shelley, racing secretary ; Dr. J. T. Chawk, paddock judge ; S. K. Hughes, timer and Brownell Berry man, patrol judge. The first race each day will start at 1 :30 p. m.
