I ALL MICOU began well and. after having raced close up for a half mile, raced into the lead in the stretch and outstayed PARADER in a game finish. The latter had to be ridden wide on the last turn and came fast through the stretch. SANDS OF PLEASURE was hard ridden and came fast in the last eighth. LUGS saved much ground on the turns and finished well. PEQUOT began slowly and closed a gap. PIEDMONT set a good pace, but tired after reaching the stretch. JUPITER began badly. MAMOUD, energetically ridden, closed a big gap from a sluggish beginning and, coming fast through the stretch, took the lead in the last sixteenth and wrn going away. ROYAL PRINCESS showed the most speed to the last eighth and finished gamely. WILL WELLS raced well all the way. BRINKLEY ran a good race. LUCKY tired. BAD LUCK was away poorly after suffering from interference at the start. POINSETTIA also was away poorly and suffered from interference.
