Won easily; second and third driving. HAZY rushed into a long lead at once and was never closely approached. C. T. WOUTniNG-TON was in closest and game pursuit for the entire race and finished well. STORM CLOUD was allowed to drop too far back and was ridden wide on the turns, then swerved in the stretch, but came fast near the end. BAD LUCK showed speed, but tired and swerved in the stretch. Won easily; second and third driving. ADMIRER, away fast, showed the most speed and, holding his lead well, outstayed PROMISING TOM. The latter raced prominently all the way, saved much ground on the turns and was going well at the end. ANTICIPATE began fast and raced in closest pursuit, but began tiring after going a half mile. BOOTS AND SHOES dropped back in the first half mile and came again in the stretch. KINDRED was always far back. MR. BECK closed a big gap. JUPITER came with a rush through the stretch and, finishing gamely, outstayed RAJAH. The latter was close up all the way, but tired near the finish. TENDER SETH came from far back in the last eighth. PETER TIPER was done after going a half mile. ELEMENTAL ran far below his true form. SPUGS came fast through the stretch and, finishing gamely, got up in the last strides for second place. SMART GUY began tiring in the stretch after having shown the most speed to the last eighth. MUSKEG dropped back repeatedly and was running gamely at the end. McINTOSH was done after going a half mile. Scratched 8G33G Purity, 10C.
