Won easily: second and third driv ng. LETTER SIX raced COl NTRY LIFE into defeat and won in a canter. SUASTA SOI. was iuterfered with just after the start, but made up ground and made a game finish. COCNTRY I.IKE showed a good turn of early speed, but tired badly in the stretch. KACCACE KING was a forward contender from the start. YIKING was running well in the stretch when he swerved into the heavy going and quit badly. JERSEY RED aud J I" ST CI. ARE began slowly and were always far back. LONE PINE began in close quarters and was in a pocket, but finally, swerving over to the inside, finished with a terrific rush between the winner and LOVE SONC. I The latter l«-gan fast on the outside and attempted to make a runaway race of it and seemed well beaten at the eighth |« st, but rallied and finished fast. P.ROVVSPRIT ran well.
