Exterminator was turned out in a large rncmy pasture duritig the winter months with everything that it was thought would please him. "Old Slim" began to grieve and lost what little weight he packed on his bony frame. Trainer Smith then picked him up and put him back with the racing string. "Slim" began to show signs of interest and put on weight. He is now as playful as a kitten and takes keen interest in his duties leading the juveniles to and from their daily trials at Havre de Grace.
