The latter was waited with, took a long turn and finished fast but could not quit get up . DAN AltVI raced forwardly throughout, but tired in the final drive. The latter was far back to the half from where he came with a rush and was easily second best. MRS. PAT saved ground on all the turns and finished fast. SIR JOHN AERGNE set a good pace, but found the route too far. MISS JANE showed speed but tired badly. TAG DAY moved up fast on the last turn but tired in the stretch. FAIR ROWENA laced past LIZETTE after going a half and, taking the lead, appeared an easy winner when entering the stretch, but suddenly tired and seemed beaten, but rallied, however, and was going best of the first three at the finsh. HYANPOM closed up fast after rounding the last turn, but tired in the last fifty yards. LIZETTE set a good pace and came again in the last eighth. ROCK HEATHER was too much for his tiny rider and ran wide in the stretch, tiring badly in the last eighth. MELACHRINO quit after going three-quarters and appeared very sore when pulling up.
