; ! HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 16. At the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting, E. Trueman will ship his stable to Woodbine Park, Toronto. Included in his string is a band of two-year-olds he is training for Dr. R. W. Carter. "Specs" Crawford hit the road this morning with jockey J. McTaggart. He plans to ride some of the horses he is training for the Queen City Stable this year. Hugh Garth will be an absentee from the races this summer. He has purchased a farm adjoining his fathers at Charlottesville, Va., and he already has a band of several brood mares at his place. Frank Capra has had his recent purchase, Mystify, fired and turned out at James Arthurs farm in the Long Green Valley, Maryland. A couple of old-timers turned up at Havre de Grace today. Newton Bennington, looking as chipper as a young flapper, and W. Buchanan, a star rider some few years back, being busy greeting old friends. Clyde Phillips has arranged to make a i trip to Belmont Park to look over nine of j the Greentree Stable racers which are at the Ijong Island course. Stirrup Cup. the stables candidate for the Kentucky Derby, will be given a trial. G. Friend Long Taw, one of starter Mil-; tons assistants, started schooling at Pimlico : this morning. He had at the barrier a big I band of the William Garth, Miller Hender-■ son and E. F. Whitney horses. Paul Fox has arranged to take up the three-year-old Little Fox, which has been j turned out all winter at W. Jennings farm ! at Mount Washington. . . « .
