SERGEANT MURPHY OUT OF PROPOSED MATCH RACE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. LONDON, England, April 16. — George Blackwell, Newmarket trainer, has telegraphed the authorities at Sandown Park that he is reluctantly withdrawing Sergeant Murphy from the proposed match race between Sergeant Murphy, Shaun Spadah and Music Hall, veteran winners of Grand National Steeplechase, which was to take place on April 25. When Sergeant Murphy fell in the recent Grand National he was cut into, Blackwell says, and he would be unable to get the veteran jumper into his best condition for the race next week.
