1 I , LEXINGTON TURF NOTES LEXINGTON. Ky., April 20. George M. Hendrie and Walter O. Parmer spent Sunday here seeing the horses at the Hendrie farm. Julius G. Reeder, assistant in the office of the racing secretary, arrived from New Orleans via Louisville, he and Mrs. Reeder having motored all the way. Judge Andrew G. Leonard, who presided at the Huntington meeting, spent Sunday here, leaving last night for Canton, Ohio. "The Huntington meeting was a success financially, as well as otherwise," said he. "The racing was good. The attendance improved steadily in numbers and character. The owners of the plant are very much encouraged." Judge William H. Shelley arrived today to take up his duties as racing secretary. Judge William E. Phillips has arrived and is feeling fine. Frank Rector also is here. George Brooks, trainer of Baalbec and other horses for Kdward Cebrian, came over from Louisville to spend Sunday. C. B. Shafer spent Sunday at his Cold- stream farm, where there are fifteen foals, ten colts and five fillies. _ 1 A
