YERRATS RIDING FEATURES Pilots Three Winners at Columbus — Double for the Green Briar Stable. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 20.— For the second day of the Beulah Park meeting the weather was cool, with a raw wind sweeping the course, which made winter wearing apparel a necessity for comfort. Overhead and track conditions were most favorable, however, and another good crowd witnessed the sport. The outstanding feature of the racing was the riding of A. Yerrat, who piloted three winners. His first success was on Contribution in the third race, the Green Briar Stables filly scoring by a wide margin. In the following race Yerrat repeated, bringing home Shine On, a long shot, paying 3.60 for , to earn the decision by a head after a spirited finish. His third victory came on Pet Cat, another from the Green Briar Stable, which won the sixth race, leading all the way to hold safe Star Sweeper and Uncle Jay. Jockey S. Hicks, who made his debut of the meeting in the saddle today, was set down for five days by starter Dean for misbehavior while at the post. Several stables arrived from Huntington, W. Va., including these of J. Ambrams, A. Winters, A. J. Potter, with eleven head, and the aged division of the Jones Stock Farm string. E. E. Major is in charge of the latter stable in the absence of B. A. Jones, who is on a visit to his home in Parnell, Mo. »
