! ! I PIMLICO TURF NOTES BALTIMORE, Md., May 9. Prince Tii Tii has changed hands. He went to the stable of Mrs. FYank Farrar who claimed the plater for ,500. A. R. Louden, secretary of the Hamilton Jockey Club, who is here spending a few days looking over the jumpers in the Queen City Stable, announced that the turf track at Hamilton has been done away with in order to give room for improvement in the steeplechase course. There will be a jumping race every day at the Hamilton meeting. Thomas Francis added the two-year-old Pepper to his string. He secured the colt by purchase from William Garth for ,000. Joseph McLennan received a wire from Thomas Gorman that the condition hooka of the Ottawa meeting would be ready for distribution among the horsemen at limlico on Wednesday next. Max Ilirsch, after an interview with Mrs. W. K. Vanderbilt who was here yesterday, changed his plans regarding Sarazen and, instead of remaining over to start him in the Jennings Handicap on Monday, sent the horse back to Xew York. Several horses left here for Kentucky this afternoon. Included in the shipment were Sweeping Away and Prince of Bourbon of the Xalapa Farm, Hal Price Headleys Chacolet and Almadel and E. C. Griffiths Single Foot. Jimmy Rowe will leave with several of the Harry Payne Whitney racers. The Greentree Stables Chantey came out of the Preakness a bit sore. The Maryland Racing Commission have ruled that a rider in the employ of an owner will not be permitted to ride against his stable. This means that a written contract is not necessary to enforce the rule and that the fact that he be employed by an owner is all that is necessary whether the agreement be a verbal one or otherwise. In the future geldings will be eligible in the Walden and Xursery Stakes. The entries of geldings, however, will not be accepted in either the Preakness or the Pimlico Futurity.
