G. W. WINGFIELDS STABLE To Race at Hawthorne — Preston Burch Makes Reservations — Program Being Compiled. The Nevada Stock Farm of George Wing-field will race in Chicago, having requested reservations at Hawthorne for the following horses: General Thatcher, The Cherokee II., Kingman, Thistlewood, Hank Monk, Tamale Dick, Teluride, Free Miller, Washoe, Orangeade, Miss Thatcher, Ida ODay, Angleplane, Green Woods, War Bells, Wild Bee, Island Fairy. From the East came word from Preston M. Burch who asked reservations for Dixie Smith and General Clinton. The Eakles Stock Farm and Golden West Stable, through, F. R. Doyle, the trainer, sent in application for reservations for the following horses: Jack Jr., Saddle Pony, Marjorie E, Lady Nadden, Lady Lillian] Bank Jr., Woodbank, Due Bank, Betty OBrien, Rose Doyle, Sir Stephen, Happy and Friend Joe. There were also received applications for reservations from A. J. Hedderman for Tea Tray, Sanola, Alleden and Desert Gold ; from Van B. Campbell for Bill Ainsworth, Lady Goodhart, Sunny Dividend. Panna, Dadja and Erskine Dale, and from E. L Fitzgerald for George Kuffan, Miss Margaret, Plentycoos, Brother John, Marionette, Hainan, Davis Jr., Dr. Cardenas, Dial and Pickens. Applications for entry blanks and stable reservations are coming in with every mail. The racing secretary is now at work getting up his first book and the interest manifested is apparent for already there are many applications for the books as soon as they come from the printers. •
