WOUMWOLD met with early interference, but recovered quickly and moved up fast and tired near the end. BOMBSHELL raced well all the way. HAPPY BIRTHDAY showed speed. CARTOON closed a gap. PILGRIM was badly outrun to the last turn, but came fast after entering the stretch and finished gamely, hut swerved over against DREAM OF THE VALLEY and ■ knocked him off bia stride, for which be was disqualified. DREAM OF THE VALLEY liegan slowly but slipped through on the inside when entering the stretch and finished gamely. CALIGULA away well, showed the most speed, but tired in the final drive.
