FAIR BREAK A SURPRISE Victory in Brooklyn Parks Main Race Unexpected — Ladies Are Gnests of Management. CLKVELAND, Ohio, June 5.— J. Prices Fair ISrcak provided somewhat of a surprise when he took the measure of Freedoms Call, Little Clair and Fancy Free In the fifth race, which attracted the best field of the card at Brooklyn Tark thla afternoon. The winner showed the way all the last half mile, but was doing his best at the end to win by lesa than a length. Freedoms Call nosed out Little Clair for second place in the final stride. Fancy Free, the top-heavy favorite, had no excuses and tired when the real test came. There was no relief from the extreme heat Ladies day was responsible for the largo turnout of the fair sex, which swelled the attendance considerably. »
