DERBY DINNER ON JUNE 22 Mr. Fred n. Mann, proprietor of the Ttainho C.ardens, calltd at the office of the Chicago Business Mens Racing Association today and extended an invitation to the racing officials and the executive staff of the Business Mens Racing Association and the nevvspaper-men to a Derby Dinner on Monday night, j July 22. Mr. Mann just returned from abroad with new ideas and novelties and is anxious to give the Derby Dinner on the night of the opening of his big revue. Mr. Mann gave resident manager Charles T. Essig a check f.r ,000 for a silver Derby Cup to be presented to the winner of the I big scheduled event on Saturday, July 11, I 1925. Arrangements were made wherein the big j 100-piece Rainbo Garden band will perform i on the opening day on Thursday, July 2, at the Hawthorne race track.
