WINS THE FRENCH OAKS PAItIS, France, June 10. — Baron Robert de Rothschilds Aquatinte won the Prix de DtUM or French Oaks at Chantilly Sunday. M. Martinez de Hozs Lucide finished second. and Frisette. from the same stable, was third. Nim teen fillies started in the race. Steve Donoghue came from Kngland to ride Aquatinte. and his skillful handling had much to do with thp result. The Rothschild filly won by a length. J. K. Wideners Tagus won the Prix Royau-mount. Keogh rode the id?ner starter, which led Lord Derbys Helen of Troy to the finish by a short head, with Reine Saba, from the Rothschild stable, third, another head farther back. There were ten starters. The weather was ideal and a record crowd was out for the racing. Mrs. II. B. Duryea, Mrs. V. K. Vandtrbilt. II.. Mr. and Mrs. George I . Widener and other prominent Americans were seen in the crowd.
