Dick Welles* Selections At Havre De Grace LIU the 5 son ar and Gl and« take tk JJ wi will i fe br w will m in MUSKALLONGE- POOR SPORT— I GOLDEN WANDERER. i A bulky field is in prospect for the first « race on the program and here, MUSKAL- LONGE, is given the call. This racer is a s fast breaker and a front runner, which should f be to his advantage in the large field. POOR c SPORT is gradually getting into winning form and should be the one to land in second J place. GOLDEN WANDERER did not fare l so well in his only start this year but it is J said that he is now in good trim and he can be expected to make it hot for the others. ROCK MAN— DIZZY BLONDE— ADRIA. ROCK MAN met defeat in his last start by the consistent Timmara but that race should have done him a world of good, and he should now be right on edge for todays tussle. The son of Trap Rock is asked to shoulder 12G pounds and he will meet some J stiff opposition but for all of that he appears to be a sure winner. DIZZY BLONDE hung up quite a record while racing at Miami and if she continues to the rame good form will give the winner some trouble. ADRIA finished third in her race Thursday and a like performance here would find her well up at finish. SENATOR NORRIS— GENERAL THATCHER— BACKBONE. A good race is in prospect in the third number with SENATOR NORRIS looked | | upon as the most likely winner. This good of Cudgel is in rare form at the present at the weights looks like a good one. GENERAL THATCHER has had a long trip from the Tijuana course and if the ride didnt too much out of him he will be in there fighting at the finish. The Whitney racer, BACKBONE, hasnt been to the races this year but if he has kept his last year form prove worthy company. JIINIATOR— POL ANTE— RE I ROCKET. In the Aberdeen Stakes, which is the carded feature on todays program, a large and fast band of juveniles will contest. The Whitney crack, M1NIATOR, is the one expected to be home first. The company he meets here be much better than that lie has met his other two starts but if he races today | | I i « s f c J l J J | | | | as he did in those races should be able to i down his opponent. POLANTE. the speedy two-year-old which was crowned the champion at the Tijuana meeting, is also entered 1 and if the trip did him no harm he can i surely be expected to give the winner plenty of trouble. His most recent win was the . renewal of the Tijuana Futurity and he won it Iik«T a champion. RED ROCKET has s improved immensely since arriving from i Jefferson Park and taking a line through 1 his last two races will be close up at the ! finish. CUDGELLER— LOUNGER— SINGLE FOOT. The fifth race is known as the Everglades Turse and some good handicap horses meet t here. CUDGELLER is given the call over r LOUNGER and SINGLE FOOT. He won his 5 last race with utmost ease and a like effort today should find him home in advance again. I LOUNGER was well l eaten in his last race 1 but is capable of doing better and that performance should be thrown out. SINGLE 2 FOOT is in with less weight today, but he » appears to be far away from his last year r form and dont look for him to do any better r than finish third. GOLDEN BILLOWS— DR. OMARA— DIAGRAM. GOLDEN PILLOWS has turned in some e good races since ccming back this year and r if she continues in the same good form should I . be able to account for this race. DR. " OMARA has been working in a most satisfactorily manner and a race to his trials s would find him a strong contender for the e first money. DIAGRAM ran a good race his s last out when he was beaten a neck by Clique e for the purse. Look for him to be close up p at the finish. RUPEE— QUOTATION— MAXIE. RUPEE looks like the best play in the e concluding number. His last race at Rowie, ?. when he finished third, would indicate that -t he is in good form and he can be expected to perform well here. QUOTATION tired d in the stretch in her last out and that race •e should have done her much good. Is the one. ie most feared. MAXIE is gradually getting g into winning form and should ba able to o account for some part of the purse.
