Little time was lost at the barrier in the LOOK Be*ca Handicap and the start was a go 1 one. though Dangerous was particularly sluggish in leaving, while Gamble and Turf Idol jumped away at a sprinting clip. Through the lack stretch Gamble continued to set the pace, but Turf Idol was right after her and under a nice steadying jestraint. Blondin was not far away and closely following him came Mirador. with Hedgefence and Dangerous rather far back. MHI.K MOM BACK. It was not until leaving the back stretch that Iambic tired slightly and Turf Idol went into the command, Breuning had him under restraint and he was galloping strongly. Btondin was going strongly back of Gamble and Mirador was beginning to improve his position. Turf M 1 was still showing the way into the stretch, but when the eighth post was reached Blondin had closed on him until I.reutiing was forced to go to a drive. The son of Pebbles responded gamely, but Hirudin would not be denied and lie continued to draw up and by until at the end he was three parts of a length clear. Turf Idol had beaten Mirador four lengths for second place and then came Dangerous, which had closed it big gap when too late. After the finish it was discovered that .amble had bled in the running and she was pulled op a bad last. J. A. Harper** All in All won her second lace at the meeting when she led home a cheap band of those of her own sex in the opening five and a half furlongs dash. "While she won with comparative ease Julie, Sox and .lanetta finished back of her closely tapped. Janet ta was the one to out out the running and after Sande had permitted her to take a good early lead he took hold of her and used all his skill in an effort to nurse her home, but it was of no avail. She was still showing the way when well inside the final eighth. but there she collapsed utterly to be beaten by three horses. All in All was knocked back shortly after the start. worked her way around her opponents and finished in good style. Julie acted badly at the peat, as usual and was in rather close quarters early, but VMM corning strongly at the finish Sox after being first at the start was unable to heap up and as she dropped back she met with some interference, but was coming again at the finish. Another that was unfortunate was Adieu. This fills began so slowly as to have scant racing chance and she was at no time in a contending position. KN COCAS STABLE SrCCFSS. Turf Light was a distant third to beat Gilford A. Cochrans Flat Iron for th it part of the purse. From a good start Clap Trap was the one to go out in the pace and when Turf Light went with him the pair drew out into a long bad. Clap Trap finally put Turf Light away, but the daughter of Pebbles bad bung to Lim long enough to coat him considerable effort. All this time Catrone was rating Celidon along back of the tun leaders and in the last eighth he tailed on the son of Nego-f"l and after a short brush he was on by to win going away.
