LINCOLN FIELDS OPENING Although no official announcement has been made as yet by Col. Matt Winn, it is generally understood that the new Lincoln Fields track, which is being built at Crete, will hold its inaugural meeting immediately after the close of Homcwood. This meeting, it is understood, will run thirty-one days and will probably start during the second week in August, j about August !.
