LATONIA TURF NOTES LATONIA, Ky., June 21. S. H. Kennedy arrived from Columbus with the horses Red Seth, Alice I.ang. Arabella and Venture. Billy Witt and Quince Garden, both bad post actors, have been added to the schooling list. Jockey R. Yelton arrived Monday from Aurora and will accept mounts at Iatonia. James W. Corrigan, tleveland steel magnate and sportsman, through the British Blood Stock Agency, purchased for .00 Enthusiastic Edward, a two-year-old ehest-nut colt hy Grand Parade —Lake Van. The colt left England on the steamer Minnetonka June IS, unsigned to Pete Coyne at LatasaM. C. S. Ball, who embarked in the sport of thoroughbred racing when he recently bought Hroomster at public auction and has already won two purses with the aged horse, is selling all of his trotting horses and devoting his leisure time to the running branch of racing. Mr. Ball is a well known manufacturer of Dayton, Ohio. Bagenbaggage and Boot to Boot, which failed to lower the colors of J. K. Wideners Haste in the Fairmount Derby, returned to I atonia Monday afternoon in charaji of trainer W. Hurley. Jockeys Blind and .. Johnson, who rode the colts in the Derby, returned Sunday.
