TROMPINt; TO DAY showed the most speed ami raced gamely through the final drive SHASTA GRAFTON saved much ground on all the turns and finished well. TOMMY FOSTER raced prominently from the start and might have been the winner, but for swerving out badly on the stretch turn. RADIANCE was always outrun. FORETOP was done after goinu the first quarter. The latter saved much ground on the turns and raced well, but tired in the last sixteenth. ORBIT showed the most early speed, but was done after reaching the stretch and barely lasted to save third place. BATSMAN closed an immense gap in the last eighth and would have been third in another stride. BLOCKHEAD had no mishaps and was outrun from the start. CHIEF UNCAS was dene after going three -eighths. SUPPORTER showed the most speed for the half mile and quit.
