Won easily: second and third driving FAIRBANK began fast, but was taken back and saved to the stretch, then passed the leaders with a rush when called on and was going away at the .-ml. ROYAL PEARL passed THORNTON, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. THORNTON spriuted iuto a long lead in the first half ruile, but tired badly in the final eighth. CHARLCIE raced well tliroughiHit and outgamed the tiriug LISAB. The latter was nmeh used in following the winner closest and tired. LORD YORK quit.
