Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. VALLEY LIGHT, close up from the start, took the lead and came awav in the stretch when called on and won easing up. J. ;. DENNY raced prominently for the entire race and finished gamely when ridden hard. PALM COURT began slowly and had to race wide, but closed an immense gap and finished fast. SIE ; MAROON began fast and showed the most speed for a half mile but tired in the stretch. GARALDON ran a good race. INDIAN LIGHT was close up when he suffered a mishap and was pulled up. „. Won easily: second and third driving. GOLDEN RACKET, away fast and showing the most speed, raced into a long lead in the fir«t cnarter and, holding it well, won easing up. DA VINCI, hard ridden from the start, raced into second place after going the first quarter and finished gamely. MARTIE FLYNN was forced to met verv wide on the turns, but raced well and finished gamely. ISOSTASY was crowded back soon after the start and finished fast. SEE SAG tired when reaching the stretch. BROWN SILK was restrained in close pursuit of the early leaders and, responding well when ridden hard in the stretch, passed YACHTSMAN In the last eighth and won going awav. YACHTSMAN showed the most early speed, but began tiring in the stretch and barely lasted to save second place. AREGAL ran a good race, finished well and would have been second at a longer distance. BIRLEY M C. raced loi» to the leader in the early running, but began tiring in the stretch and had to be ridden hard to outstay CLONASLEE. The latter raced a trifle wide from the start. GIRL SCOUT raced wide and requires a stronger rider. THISTLE GOLD moved up fast through the stretch. THE HUGUENOT began siowy and ran poorly. Scratched— 0901 3 T. S.
