ALEC GORDON RESIGNS NEW YORK, N. Y.. April 25.— Alec Gordon resigned his position as trainer for H. C. "Bud" Fisher this morning. Cordon failed to agree with his employer about terms for the coming year, but parted as best of friends. Gordon has had a full measure of success with the Fisher horses in the six years that he has trained them and will continue to assist R. EL Shannon for a few days until his successor is appointed. The horses have been turned over to Shannon temporarily. Cordon will train the horses that will race in his own colors for the present. a . .
