FORE LADY, far back for a half mile, closed a gap quickly in the stretch, outflnishing JOHNNY CAMPBELL. The latter also made up ground and finished gamely. DOCTOR GLENN raced close up to the stretch, then raced wide. losing much ground and tired. PLAY HOUR showed early speed and so did LUCENT. LOUISVII.E AND NASHVILLE lacked his recent good form. AMERICAN THUNDER set a fast early pace and raced into a long lead, then tired when the winner challenged, but raced gamely to outfinish ALEADER. The latter was away slowly, but improved her position gradually and finished fast and . gamely on the outside. SOIREE had no mishaps and got up to nose out NARVA. The latter raced well for the first half mile and tired in the final seventy yards. PORTIA ran well for the first half aile. LI LA G. and CHEROKEE MAID were soon outpaced. TIPPITY WITCHET raced close up to the stretch, then passed CAPTAIN FOX and took the lead, but gave way to the winner when challenged. PRINCE K. raced far back for three-quartera, then closed a big gap and finished fast. CAPTAIN FOX tired after settles the pace to the stretch turn. SPEARO was done in the stretch.
