V I LEXINGTON TURF NOTES | $ v LEXIXGTOX, Ky., April 25. The auction of Lord Marmion and Jack Rabbi tt. owned by Raleigh Rolston and scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until next week. Harry H. Hart, one of the most successful of the younger horsemen, will not race his stable during the coming summer. All of his horses will be turned out for several months before going under preparation for fall racing. C. W. Hay, general manager of Washington Park and former racing official, is among the daily visitors from Frankfort. D. Kennedy and J. Heupel, associated with the J. J. Coughlin Stable, came over from Louisville for the day. The former reports that Dick Heffner left Churchill Downs this morning with fifteen of the Coughlin horses intended for racing at Aurora. He took apprentice N. Walters along to do most of the stables riding. Jockey X. Barrett was an arrival from Maryland and jockey W. Harvey expects to leave for Havre de Grace Thursday morning. The latter came here especially to ride Aleadei- in the Ashland Oaks this afternoon. John S. Ward is negotiating for the contract W. R. Seamster holds on jockey W. Lauscher. The agreement has two years to run. R. E. Lechleiter has engaged jockey K. Horvath, the capable rider with the L. Gentry stable, to ride either Cartago or Golden Racket in the Kentucky Derby and one of the pair in the Clark Handicap. Robert Blackburn, youthful jockey with the Idle Hour Stock Farm Stable, had his first mount of the meeting this afternoon. The boy is under engagement to J. Fitz-simmons, who has sanctioned his riding here and has been galloping horses at the Idle Hour Stock Farm since H. J. Thompson put members of his division of the stable in training.
