NINO BIG FRENCH WINNER The Prix dee Sablons of 0,000 was run at Longehamps April 1, over the one and one-quarter miles course. Xino, a five-year-old by Clarissimus — Azclce, the property of M. M. P. Moulines, carried away the honors, winning by three lengths from the only two other starters, Fortunio and Le Grand Frisson. Nino won the Prix du President de la Re-publique last year and the year before. He had not been seen out in public since winning the Grand Prix de Marseille early in November. Xino is one of the leading money-winning hors.-s of France and has to date accounted for 27,736 in prize money.
