HAVRE DE GRACE NOTES 4, . — ■ — # HAVRE DE GRACE, M 1., April 25. Harry Rites had Cantor vanned back to Ptantteo this morning. On receipt of a message telling of the illness of his mother, jockey N. Barrett cancelled his engagements this afternoon. The two-year-old Voltear, which was taken sick after his winning effort at Howie and which was left at that track when the Nevada Stock Farm Stable shipped to Havre de Grace, lias been transferred over to Iinilico. Among the club house visitors this afternoon was Frank Riggs, secretary of the Maryland Jockey Club. E. Trueman and H. G. Bedwell shipped to Iitnlico this morning. In the absence of Frank J. Bryan. A. H. Morris will be associated with A. G. Weston and George Brown in the stewards stand at Pimlico this spring. Jockey P. Goodwins apprentice allowances expired today. Leslie Pichon was an arrival from Kentucky this morning and joined the stable of his new employers, the Messrs. Seagram , orf Waterloo, Ont. Jockey J. Tammaro was suspended for ■ three days by the starter for disobedience ; while at the post in the first race yesterday. . E. Barnes reported ill and cancelled his ; engagements. F.
