, ■ THE PANTHER INJURED HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 25 — Trainer M. V. Walsh reports that J. Smiley Herkness Derby and Preakness condidate, The Panther, was kicked on the hock while being schooled from the barrier the other day and that the injury was severe enough to throw the colt out of training for a time. This means that The Panther will be withdrawn from both of the big Spring stakes.
