I. but was trying to swerve out slightly after entering the stretch. ROSBOMAR was away in a tangle le mid moved np fast and gamely, but also swerved slightly in the stretch. ARTIE KAY, away fast, t. was outpaced In the early running and met with repeated interference in the stretch, but finished d gamely. SINGLESTICK saved ground when entering the stretch and finishd with a rush on the inside. e. HAlGHTY was much used in forcing the early pace and tired. RHYME AND REASON r- sponded to hard riding when called on and finished well. PRICEMAN quit after making a challenge while rounding the far turn. PRATTLE was always outrun. NLSAKAN rushed into the lead at the start and showed the most early speed, but tired under hard riding. DOCTOR WILSON was outrun to the middle of the stretch turn, then moved up fast on the inside and finished gamely. SOULT dwelt slightly at the start and, racing on the inside in the deep going, tired in the stretch. APOSTLE had no mishaps.
