Thompson to Race Twenty-Five in the East, Including Boot to Boot and Buddy Bauer. * LEXINGTON, Ky., May 4.— Trainer H. J. Thompson shipped from the Idle Hour Farm twenty-five thoroughbred horses for racing in the East, under ths colors of Col. Edward Riley Bradley and those of his niece, Miss Peggie B. Bailey, of Philadelphia. The horses were reported to have reached Belmont Park Friday morning. Buddy Bauer and Buttered Toast, now in the band of nine at Pimlico in charge of trainer William Hurley, will be sent to Bel-mont Park at the close of the Maryland racing season, and Hurley will send the other seven to Arlington Park, Chicago, to which point the fourteen that trainer Thompson left at the farm will also be sent when Hurley calls for them. When the changes are all made, Hurley will have twenty-one horses in the western division. Thompson will have twenty-five, of which five are Miss Baileys, and J. w! Healy will have Miss Baileys two jumpers, making a total of forty-eight horses, as follows : Idla Hour Stock Farm Stable Eastern Division H. J. Colonel Bradley will leave today for the East, stopping off for the day in CincinnatL He will see the Preakness Stakes decided at Pimlico and will be back at the farm about May 14, to remain in Kentucky until after the running of the Derby at Churchill Downs. He will return to New York then and remain until July 1, when he will sail for Europe, to be gone until autumn. During- his absence abroad, Harry Shannon, manager of Idle Hour Farm Stable, will be at the New York tracks and Saratoga to look after his employers interests.
