The latter raced into a long lead early and set a good pace, but tired in the fjna! drive. FRANK CROWLEY raced clos; up throughout ami finished gamely. MARTY B. could never reach the leaders. AtJNES CLARKE showed speed. WEE BALOO tired. VIOLADO and MISS MARY were left and some of the others were away so poorly as to have no chance. MELYA ROSE quit. SIBERIAN and SOLIDITY were loft and the former was caught in the webbng.
