HARP OF THE NORTH closed up gamely next to the inner rail in the stretch and finished fast. MY FRIEND PAT saved ground on the first turn, but was forced to race on the outside and tired in the stretch. LADY SHAW finished fast. SEMPRONIA ran fairly well. LIRORIO showed the most speed nearly throughout and raced gamely in the final drive, although tiring. LITTLE AYON raced close up and made a game challenge in the stretch. COBHAM finished fust on the outside of the leaders and was going best of all at the finish. WATCH IT began slowly and closed up much ground. COL.
