Ithorncliffe TRACK notes! g TORONTO, Ont.. May 30. Elmer Trucman reports that the jumper Kangaroo was shipped to Belmont Park, where he was turned over to Matt Brady. Joseph McLennan, who had charge of the fund raised among the horsemen and turf followers for the widow of the late John Boon, Tuesday reported a total of ,213 being subscribed. A check for this amount has been forwarded to T. J. Healey, to be turned * over to Mrs. Boon. F. H. Smith, who is retiring from active participation in racing, this morning disposed at private sale, to G. W. Foreman, the good horse Prickly Heat. Smith contemplates leaving for Kentucky some day this week. After a short visit there he will continue on his way to New Orleans. Charles Ferraro, who had been racing his horses at the Mount Royal meeting, got in from Montreal this morning. Ferraro has shipped his stable to Connaugh Park. He is here in search of a jockey and may sign up a. rider before returning to Ottawa. A few days back Ferraro obtained a contract on C. Long, brother to W. W. Long, who js riding for Bud Fisher. Young Long has been with hocses some time, but is a bit too light. He will probably break into the limelight next fall. Gene Bury distributed among the horsemen the blanks for the stakes to be run at Dorval. The condition books of the Blue Bonnets meeting were distributed among the horsemen by Joseph McLennan and they met with the approval of the majority. Among the stables which will race at the Connaught Park and Blue Bonnets meetings are the Seagrim Stable, H. C. Hatch, Riverside Stable, W. J. Salmon and R. T. Wilson, Jr. Several horsemen racing here contemplate shipping to Wilmington for the meeting there. _ A
