MARYLAND TRACKS REPORT MOXTREAB, Que., June 16.— John P. Turner, who is here assisting secretary McLennan and also acting as one of the placing judges, reports that work on the new grand stand at Laurel is progressing in a rapid manner. He brings the information from Maryland that the roads leading to the Bowie race course are being regraded and tarred, .which means that they will be in excellent conditions for the fall meeting- The Marlboro plant is also being brushed up in preparation for the fall meeting which begins in September.
