The horses Frontiersman, The Abbot, Love , Pirate and Pet Cat, which comprise the 3 band owned by The Battle Axe Stable, have ! been shipped by trainer C. O. Ray to the Windsor track at Windsor, Ont., and 1 the stable will carry on with a campaign 1 over the Canadian tracks. Jockey R. Russell came from Latonia to ride the Audley Farm Stables Bobashela in , the Statler Hotel Handicap and it is expected that he will remain here to ride for " that stable during the rest of the meeting. M. Caruso has disposed of the plater Cluff, , having sold him, to C. E. Martin at private » sale. C. H. Trotter, who was among the late B arrivals here with several horses from 1 Latonia, made his first entries when he e named Brookdale Miss and Purple Light t for two of Mondays races. Phil Reuter will ship four of the members 3 of his large stable to Latonia on Monday. Among the quartet of racers that Reuter r is sending will be his good three-year-old I Galahad, the latter an intended starter in the 3 Latonia Derby a week hence. . After their bad post behavior in a race on Friday, Eatonden, Maggie B., Jessie Carey and Josephine H., all two-year-olds, were e placed on the schooling list. Brumina was s also added to the list by starter William [1 Snyder. Mode Nicolls good two-year-old gelding „. Jack Howe, which was kept out of the e Valley Stakes by a severe illnes, is on the e road to recovery. The youngster has been II afflicted with fever, having a temperature e of 101, but has recovered sufficiently to be e considered out of danger. E. K. Ramseys three horses, the two-year-olds ,. Boganowski, who suffered a a fall from Ali-Baba directly at the start of f the sixth race Friday, suffered a severe e bruising of the right side, the face, right !t shoulder and right ribs and was taken to - St Marys Hospital in East St. Louis, 111.
