BLACK FLYER raced in close up early pursuit and, passing the leacers with a rush after going taree-eifaths, easily held his lead safe in the final eighth. PRINCE BULBO was much used in racing i: ERLA8TIKG into defeat and began tiring after going five eighths. LITTLE TORCH finished resolutely under a hard ride. ROYAL PENNANT dropped far back at once and closed up some ground with a belated rush. EYERLASTING was done after showing the most speed to the stretch. MARY HUMS began slowly. HURSTLAND was in close quarters on several occasions. SANDY SHORE tired. HARVARD quit after meeting some interference after going the first quarter.
