ANTI-RACING BILLS KILLED BATON ROUGE, La.. June 21.— Four anti-racing bills were defeated in the Louisiana House of Representatives here today and another withdrawn from the calendar. All of the measures were tables on motion of David Richarme, author of a measure that appeared certain of passage, and which calls for a graduated scale of daily license fee. Opponents of racing suddenly moved to have the bills engrossed following unfavorable reports from various committees. As fast as they were brought up they were killed. Representative Frymire, New Orleans, whose bill intended the commission council to control the sport, did not offer his measure. The Richarme bill was scheduled for vote late in the afternoon and administration forces were confident of its passage.
