LA SAGETTE ran a good race and came fast through the stretch. SHASTA PI.lM had no mishaps. MARY SETH tired badly in the stretch after brief prominence. BIG DILL THOMPSON had much the best of the start and, sprinting into a good lead at once, held sway for the entire race, though, tiring in the last eighth, held ODDFELLOW II. safe. The latter was away in a tangle, taken Lack to last pace, but closed a big gap when ridden hard and finished fast. POLO STAR, also away slowly, raced well and closed a big gap, but tired slightly near the end. MINT TODDY gave way badly after going a half mile. OLAll EFORT also suffered from interference. GUKGA DIN began fast and showed the most speed, but was weakly ridden and, being kept in the worst part of the track, tiled badly in the last sixteenth.
