BREAK OF DAWN began slowly, but raced well in the going and, coming fast through the stretch, passed EXQUISITE and held her safe to the finish. EXQUISITE was away fast and raced with the early leaders until taking the lead just before reaching the stretch, then tired near the end. WAR TIME raced green, but came fast near the end. JOE MARSHALL, away slowly, closed an immense gap and was going fast at the end. LINDA quit badly. The latter was far back for a half mile, but moved up fast in the last quarter and was racing gamely at the end. ISOARD showed the most early speed, but began tiring when reselling the stretch.
