I AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES $ ยป NEW YORK, N. Y., June 26. The skull cap which F. Stevens wore saved him from injury when Rio Rita stumbled and fell on her wa. to the post in the first race. The cap was dented but the boy suffered no ill effects and remounted. Jack Richardson reports t.iat he has three lame horses in his barn. Adjutant, which went wrong yesterday following a trial, Ed-erle and The Giant. H. T. Archibalds good filly Candy Queen was mated this spring to Westy Hogan, the stallion which he recently purchased. Westy Hogan will head the breeding establishment which he purchased in Virginia. L. Fator was an absentee, the lad being confined to his room on orders of his physician. Jockey Craigmyle straightened out hu difficulties with the immigration authorities at Rouses Point and reported to the W. S. Kilmer stable this morning. Neal Enright, well known on the Kentucky tracks, was an arrival today. Judge J. T. Ireland passed through on his way to Delorimier Park, Montreal, where he will serve as an official. J. E. Davis two-year-old Talaris, a starter in the first race today, lost two teeth in the paddock. Trainer Brady was tightening a tongue strap and noticed the molars were loose. He extracted them, and quite a commotion was caused when the youngster bled slightly from the mouth. S. C. Hihdreth, following a slight attack of neuritis, resumed his duties today. M. E. "Dutch" Irwin was among the days visitors.
