YEItDI raced close up and closed some ground, but his rider made his move too late. GRAND HEY ran a game race. EASY MONEY closed up some ground. GOLDEN VOLT had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third the same. ROYAL CHARGE, jumping well and saved under restraint for the first turn of the field, moved up rapidly when called on and, passing KATHLEEN CROSBY, withstood a challenge from BOLD KNIGHT and won going away. The latter moved up quickly when called on in the second turn of the field, but was tiring at the end. CAlTAIN KIDD also made a challenge when called on and finished well. FATHER HOLT jumped well, but was poorly ridden. KATHLEEN CROSBY showed speed, but made a bad landing at the fourteenth jump and almost unseated her rider. MARCIIE MILITAIRE had no mishaps. CEREMONIAL lost his rider at the first jump. FAIRY LORE ran away two miles before the •tart. Scratched— 25401 Storm King. 149. QC71 THIRD RACE— 7-8 Mile. Audacious, July 4, 1921—1:23—5—126. FLY LIGHT improved her position steadily under good riding and finished resolutely. WESTOYERS IBP.Y came with a rush through the final eighth. AUTUMN BLOOM saved ground where possible, but tired at the end. NOBLE CHARGE ran fairly well throughout. GREY CHIEF came wide when entering the elbow. YIRMAR raced well throughout and had no mi.-l.aps. MORHOLT was away in a tangle and closed up some ground. GEKIAI.COX saved mueh ground when entering the stretch and appeared to he in T-loso quarters an eighth out when CAROI.EK swerved over slightly. COPIAIO forced the pace from the stort and had no mishaps. CLEARANCE ran a good race. FESTIVAL ran well throughout. Scratched— SUSTBlack Beetle. 118.
